| The School has a strong history of excellence in Veterinary Informatics with the appointment of computing staff in the 1970s, and the inception of the CLIVE® Unit (Computer-aided Learning in Veterinary Education) in 1992. The Unit is responsible for the production and delivery of e- learning materials for the School and for informing and advising staff on related issues. This Unit leads the collaborative project of the same name that involves all six UK veterinary schools and eleven overseas schools. LTSN (Learning and Teaching Support
Network) Centre for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine. CLIVE®
hosts the Centre in Edinburgh. The mission of the Centre is to provide professional educational support to the teachers, students and practitioners of its individual constituent disciplines so as to enhance the quality of educational provision throughout the UK and transfer good practice in an effective and cost efficient way. |
