E. coli Breakthrough

Recent research under the DEFRA Veterinary Fellowship has shown that the terminal rectum is the predominant colonisation site of E. coli O157:H7 in cattle. This research was published in the March 2003 issue of Infection and Immunity.

This paper received much interest from the Scientific community together with the National Press and are highlighted on this page.
